Lotta Jansdotter is a Brooklyn-based Swedish designer and style icon. Her creations, ranging from stationery to dishware to textiles, are sold worldwide.
This is Jansdotter's first book of clothing designs. In it she shares five simple sewing patterns - skirt, dress, blouse, pants/shorts and jacket/coat - a collection of DIY accessories, her sources of inspiration and even a peek inside her sketchboks, her studio and her travels. The garments are modeled over the course of four seasons by Jansdotter and her friends, women ranging in age from teen to senior, showcasing how easy personal style can be with a few key garments and accessories, well-chosen fabrics and the most basic sewing skills.
